Mixtapes · only on myStereo

Millions of songs.
Ninety minutes.

Streaming hands you every song ever recorded and asks nothing of you. A mixtape asks everything. Pick a C60 or a C90 and you get 30 or 45 minutes a side. When Side A is full, it’s full. You have to know your music, and you have to choose.

Record it

While the red REC light is on, every song you pick goes onto the tape, with a note saying how much room is left.

Play it like a tape

No shuffle, no skip. REW and FF wind through it, and when Side A ends, you flip it.

Label it, give it

A handwritten label, who it’s for, and a printable J-card for a real cassette case.

Your mixtapes follow you to every device through Plex. There’s a No Limit option too, but where’s the fun in that?

A mixtape playing in myStereo: its handwritten Road Trip label shows the last song crossed out and the current one highlighted, with REW and FF buttons

Not on the menu

There's a secret in here.

Remember the code that gave you 30 lives in Contra on the NES? It works here too. Enter it by tapping the edges of the knob on the main menu, which stand in for the D‑pad. Skip the B and A and go straight for the center button. You'll know it when you see it.

What you need
